Cranky Uncle by Skeptical Science. App-based game designed to build players’ resilience to misinformation around climate change. Available via browser, iPhone, and Android.
Visit the ‘Geological Mapping‘ world by Patrice Rey within the NEOS Metaverse. Access NEOS here. Players explore geology using virtual reality in a recreated world, using 3D models and 360 images.
Cascadia 9.0 by Elizabeth Safran and team. This browser based game allows players to rehearse an earthquake to better prepare them for the real thing. Link leads to a browser playable version of the game.
Flash Flood! by SeriousGeoGames and BetaJester. A 360 YouTube video version of a VR game used at events. Shows players what it would be like to be in a river during a flash flood event. Built using real-world data.
Crabby’s Reef by Christina Roggatz, Chris Skinner, and BetaJester. Arcade-style survival game to highlight the impact of ocean acidification on marine animals.
